SMEStory, an initiative of Pune-based SME Joinup has two interesting interviews of tech companies based out of Pune.
The first is an interview of Narendra Barhate of Seed Infotech that talks about the journey of Seed Infotech from a small start in 1995 to a Rs. 45 crore company with 35 centers all over idea.
The other story is an interview of Sanjay and Kailash Katkar, CTO and Founder (respectively) of Pune-based anti-virus company QuickHeal, which started as a computer maintenance services company in 1993, which has, against all odds, become the market leader in anti-virus and security products in India, with 30-35% of the market, beating such giants as Norton Anti-virus and McAfee.
