Pune’s @MakPandit first Indian to become fellow of STC (via @dnaofpune)

DNA is reporting that Pune based technical writer and trainer Makarand Pandit is the first Indian to become an “Associate Fellow” of STC (the Society for Technical Communication).


Pandit was recently honoured by president of STC, Nicoletta Bleiel, in presence of other fellow associates at a glittering ceremony held at Atlanta in the US.


Talking to dna, Pandit said, “The honour of being ‘Associate Fellow’ is awarded to those candidates who are the senior members of STC and have attained distinction in the field of technical communication .The Associate Fellows have usually held multiple leadership positions, published papers, or written articles or books and have mentored new entrants to this field.”
