POCC Meet on Rohan Dighe’s story (SocialWebFactory / DealTadka) – May 7

Santosh Dawara writes:

Rohan is an entrepreneur and Founder, CEO at Social Web Factory for over 3 years now. I met Rohan first in 2007 when he had just turned 22 years of age. It was impossible to miss the entrepreneurial spark in him.

Rohan’s journey is a mix of perseverance, patience and hard work. He started Social Web Factory during a time when “Social” was not yet taken seriously and Facebook was just another yuppie networking site.

With this talk you can hope to learn how Rohan looked into the future and went about creating a strong platform for himself. He will also share with us the ups and downs of transitioning successfully from a service-oriented company to a highly skilled and motivated product team that developed and launched SWF’s own product “Deal Tadka”.

This is one talk you don’t want to miss, especially if your parents and family don’t understand why you want to turn entrepreneur – bring them along!
