Netherlands SatNav maker TomTom to increase Pune dev center to 400 people

Netherlands based automobile navigation system maker TomTom has announced that it will rapid inccrease up its engineering/development operations in Pune this year, reports Indian Express.

Excerpt:

The company, which has been developing maps in India for the last 10 years, has set up its headquarter in Pune and will increase its headcount to 400 by the end of this year.

“India is going through a tremendous growth. The series of new navigation systems that we are introducing today are specifically designed for the Indian market,” TomTom India Managing Director Jocelyn Vigreux said.
